Today we set off for Perth WA,
to surprise Ruth, whose birthday is on Wednesday.
First a 7 hour flight from Birmingham to Dibaii.
Then a 10 hour flight from Dubaii to Perth WA.
arriving Tuesday 5:40pm local time.
Ruth was so pleased to see us, she did not really know we were coming, thou’ at the weekend she had begun to hope we might, but dare not ask Martin in case we weren’t and being told that would have added to her disappointment. As for us, we coped with the journey very well and arriving was just like coming home. It’s a beautiful country and I feel I could easily live here. Fuel is cheap and transport is cheap but food costs more than at home.
