Today we and Ruth visited Whiteman’s Park where we went to the “Revolution” Transport Museum which looked at the history of transport from ”Feet” starting with our own through horses, donkeys, mules and camels to wheeled transport from horse and camel drawn wagons, the Bicycle, the truck, the road train, the railways and buses and the private car. But throughout all the developments since the Railway came in it has always been WA Government policy to encourage the use of Public transport. Hence a Transperth all zones ticket is just $9.00 (£5.50), lasts all day and can be used on train or bus. And where possible the railway stations are combined with a bus terminal and a very large car park.
