Today we went to Perth Royal Show. That is the annual show by the Perth Royal Agricultural Society.
This was a great day out for all the family, not only the usual things like sheep shearing, cattle shows, dog tents and bird tents and other animal displays, old machinery, tree cutting competitions, lots of food stalls and souvenir stalls, joke stalls and a fun fair. There was something for everyone, including art and photography exhibitions, at which the standard of work was exceptional. There was a Toyota synchronised driving team, which mum styled the Red Toyotas (after the Red Arrows). We stopped for lunch by the forge where the blacksmiths were fashioning flowers and animals from steel by hammering and shaping the hot metal. Later in the day we went to a building housing chickens and pigeons, there was a display there of pictures and models of chickens and ducks among which was a picture and a model by Hannah. --see picture attached.
